Laurie Mercier

Laurie Mercier is a professor of history at Washington State University, Vancouver. Professor Mercier was in residence as a Sproul Fellow at Berkeley during Spring 2015. At Berkeley, her work focused on women in the labor movement in the Post-World-War-II American and Canadian wests. She delivered a talk entitled "Reconsidering Rosie: Rugged Work in the Canadian and U.S. Wests since World War II" as part of the Canadian Studies Colloquium series in April 2015.
